Step length
Using AI, we measure the stride length and average length of each leg, recording the respective deviation from the longest and shortest stride of a leg. This information helps you to see if your horse has a constant stride length or if there are any irregularities in the gait pattern.
Step height
Using AI, we measure the step height and average height of each leg, recording the respective deviation from the highest and lowest step of a leg. This information helps you to see if your horse has a constant stride height or if there are any irregularities in the gait pattern.
Step duration
Using AI, we measure the stride duration and average duration of each stride, recording the respective deviation from the fastest and slowest stride of a leg. This information helps you to see if your horse has a constant stride duration or if there are any irregularities in the gait pattern.
Angles
Our AI analyzes angles of movement such as the radius of motion, maximum extension and flexion of each joint, and asymmetric patterns between left and right. This information allows you to assess the evenness of movement and identify any asymmetries or restrictions to target your horse’s well-being.
Crossover
Our system also visualizes the crossover graphically. You get clear representations of movement patterns and crossing phases. This visual information allows you to analyze your horse’s gait in more detail and identify if the stride is regular or if the horse is stepping short.
Gaits
Our analysis covers the three basic gaits – walk, trot and canter. We offer flexibility by being able to combine these gaits as needed. Whether you want to analyze a specific gait or prefer a combination of two, our system adapts to your needs. This allows you to get exactly the analyses that are most important to you and your horse.
Impressions evaluation videos
The focus horse gait analysis pro+ includes a total of 18 videos depicting the gaits walk, trot and canter. In each video, a skeleton is shown on the horse, and it is also shown accompanied by follow points to better understand the movement sequences. In addition, there are separate videos in which the skeleton runs against a black background. This arrangement makes it possible to focus specifically on the movement of the horse.

Then upload these videos to the focus horse app.
After a few minutes you can view and download the evaluation as PDF and the analysis videos.
